Update on Transportation Administration Building in Crowell

Rolling Plains Management Corporation is excited to see the continued progress on our Transportation Administration building located across from the Central Office in Crowell.  SHARP Lines Rural Public Transportation provides transportation services for various customer needs including local trips to the grocery store and non-emergency medical transportation trips to the Metroplex. In 2022, SHARP Lines drivers traveled over a million miles to provide services to over 1,750 individuals in North Central Texas.

The dispatch and administrative staff form SHARP Lines is currently housed in the Central Office. As the need for services expands, so does the number of agency staff. Beyond providing additional office space for staff, the new building will include a large conference room for training as well as a storm shelter. According to the Transportation Program Director, Donna Moore, “the new space will provide an opportunity for better coordination and communication among staff which will lead to better customer service.”  Ms. Moore also stated that the new building is the third phase in improving the department’s infrastructure. The Transportation program has already implemented a new telephone system and software program to improve scheduling and increase service availability. The agency is looking forward to increasing service quality and availability as the project progresses.
